After completing a brand activation, the next step is to submit your Activation Report. Not only is your Activation Report an essential step in getting paid, it can also have a longer term impact by helping you get repeat bookings and more pay days.  So, it's worth taking the time to do it right!

Not sure where to start? Here are a few tips on how to nail your activation report

1. Be prepared

Have the physical set-up sorted before the activation day, so you can focus on creating a great activation report. Make sure your staff are fully informed about the product and can provide your customers with information to encourage them to try the samples. Efficient preparation means all you have to do is sit back and wait for the feedback to roll in — simple!

2. Insta-quality photos

You need to supply the brand with a minimum of four activation photos, but why stop there? Upload as many great insta-worthy activation photos as you can. The better quality the images are, the more attractive the overall report will look, and the more likely your images will be used on the brand’s social media channels, as well as ours here at Brandcrush. This is a great opportunity for you to leverage the brand’s social following and increase your own exposure.

3. Thorough feedback

The feedback provided by your customers is GOLD for your partner brands. After all, this is exactly why they’ve chosen your space to trial their product. So, help generate useful feedback from your customers by asking meaningful questions. Try questions like: Have they heard of the brand before? If it is a food or beverage product, do they have a flavour preference? Is this product something they would buy, and if not - why not? Get the conversation flowing and take note!

4. Get creative!

The brand will provide you with the product and provide some general information, but how you apply it to your space is up to you! Get creative with your activation and take plenty of photos and feedback to make your activation stand out from the rest. This will make your activity and the activation report more shareable, with more opportunity for social amplification,

Nailing a kick-ass activation report will prove to brands that you are invested in their activations. It will position you as a great brand ambassador for their product, which will work wonders for your long-term opportunities as an Activation Host.
